I have a 79 KZ1000E1 and an 80 KZ1000E2. Kind of funny that someone would call one of these boats fast bwhahaha You need to take a ride on a GSXR or ZRX14... those are fast. The ol' shafty is too heavy to be fast but it does ride smooth.

Mine is fairly quick, quick enough to wax most other bikes on the street, even keeps up with some crotch rockets
