Did anyone mention pics? :D

I wish you well. That is a tough undertaking, and yes, I'm envious! Whether it's the 500 or the 1000, it appears to be an experience of a lifetime.

We will be running a 2006 H@N%A CRF450X. There were going to be 4 of us on the team but 2 guys backed out 2 weeks ago so it will be just my brother and I. I'm sponsored by Callaway Motorsports,(our local Kawasaki/Honda dealer). The bike is at Baja Designs right now having an 8" halogen race light set up installed and I'm picking up the HID helmet lights. We had the shop that does the factory Honda teams suspension,(Precision Concepts),do the legs on our bike. I put a full Pro Circuit T4 exhaust system on and did all of the jetting and air box mods as well as gear it up to run in the mid 90's mph B) I will be going down to Baja on Memorial day weekend and spend the entire week there before the race,(which is on Sat May 31st), mostly at my fiance's house in Rosarito.I will put up posts during the week but the race is a one day,(32 hours),event so I can't do anything during the race. One interesting thing is we are now required to use a new GPS syst that will also allow people to follow our progress on the internet. You just go to their site, put in the race number, and it will show were we are at that moment. The syst had a few flaws at the last race were a lot of racers didn't show up on the map but hopefully they have that fixed by now. Our racing number is 298x. I will post more info about that website when I pick up the transmitter.
This will be one hell of an experience! I have been racing desert for over 20 years but this will be my 1st race in Baja.

Race day is Sat May 31st at 6am. I don't know my start time yet, each rider takes off at 30 second intervals. I elected for a "rear start" so I should be one of the last in the class to start,(if someone passes me,their not in my class,if I pass someone, they are in my class.).It's all based on elapsed time.
