The herd grows by two- better pics added

I went and picked up the two newest members of the herd this morning. A 6000 mile 76 KZ900 and a 77 KZ1000 LTD with 21,000 showing. I'd put them both in the Barny category but I have heard the 900 run. The goober I bought them from fired up the 900 yesterday but since the battery leads were just jammed in at the terminals and it was leaking gas like crazy from what I think is a bad fuel line, I was afraid he was going to catch it on fire. I was amazed that it fired right up even after sitting all winter.

I'm not 100% sure what I'm gonna do with these two yet but I'm thinking not too much. I may just see if i can move them at Vintage Days for a wad of sheckels. The stuff to rehab a 900 just flat costs too much IMHO so I'm thinking maybe I should just take the money and run. Here is a pic I took this afternoon with them still on the truck. I'll try and get some better ones when I get them off the truck in the morning.

Maybe potential buyers will overlook it.....and hopefully it's the original pan under there and it's in nice shape.

You won't get any arguments from me about the seat Rick it is Fugly. It is the original pan and it seems solid. Bike also came with the owners manual and tool kit and the original Kawasaki key. The pipes have had the baffles taken out which would normally be a bad thing but in this case it has kept them from rotting through. The chrome on them is not the best but they are solid and have the original stampings. The bike still has the original Dunlop gold seal front tire on it as well.

Yes Gringo got a hell of a deal. Lets just say he will probably triple his money by selling just one. He is a great guy so I am happy for him. Now if Roy had been so lucky I would be pissed
