SoCal: Ride the Crest in June?

I'd gladly lone you one of my bikes if I had more than one running right now - the 650 is a runner and is my daily transport, but I've still yet to tackle the oil pan leak and setting the float levels on my ZN700.
And it will likely be months before I even think about looking at the GPz750 that I recently aquired. :S

The ride is two weeks away now, so who all is actually going to make it?:huh:

I mite be able to make it but not too sure.
I have to switch things around like the tires from the parts bike I have the ones on the bike know are cracking but soon enough.
SOOOOO who want to come over for beer and help with the change over:huh:

I was in La Canada/Flintridge a few ago, looking for a place where we could meet up and get some breakfast before the ride.
There's a restaurant called THE HILL STREET CAFE, right at Foothill Blvd and Angeles Crest Hwy.

When I was there, there was alot of construction on Foothill. I didn't pull into the restaraunt because of traffic, but I think there's a pretty big parking lot in back.
Has anyone ever been to this place? Can you recommend it?
I'm thinking that we should start the ride at about 10:00 to 10:30. That should put us in Wrightwood by about noon.
What does everyone think?

Seeing that I have no idea of the area in southern Cal, I say that seems fine with me.

haha thanks for the thought but i was just kidding. Makes me sad though I'm bored out my mind here, nothing to look at but dirt.

I don't really know the area but sounds good to me.

I'll be there, I may have to ride my new* 1973 CB-750, na I wouldn't do that on a KZ Ride

put the CB on a bike trailer and tow it with your KZ. That way you can have both your bikes with you.

:laugh: Grant - you're too kind - when I started reading your thread, I figured it was going in another direction :laugh: I'll be there with the KZ, the CB needs a bit more work before it's ready for a long ride.
