In a tank of fresh gas I add two shot glasses of seafoam. But then and again I'm a bartender.

a tablespoon into each spark plug hole, then light it up.
Suck some up a vacuum line into each carb, hold breath it will get smoky. Cleans valves fast.
like said above, two shots in a tank of fuel every third tank.
pour a shot or so in oil, run for awhile. Cleans/breaks down engine buildup.
pour into transmission, cleans and softens seals.

I was cleaning a set of carbs off a GL1000 and the bowls were thick with varnish and crud. I ran out of carb cleaner so i just poured seafoam in each bowl. I let them set a while and the Seafoam broke the varnish/crud loose. I'll start using this method from now on. Roy

Seafoam does work well. I use Seafoam as a maintenance dose on some of my things that don't get run frequently - powerwasher, snowblower, lawnmower etc.
I like Yamaha's Ringfree too. I think that works better for cases where the rings are badly gummed into the pistons.

My name is Logan and I am a Seafoam user......
I copped my first Seafoam from the Allied Auto Store back in 92'. Back then I had a wife, 2 kids, a dog, a lawn mower, a chainsaw, a generator, a bass boat, a F150 and a Oldsamabuick. Today I have all new stuff. I owe everything to Seafoam!!:woohoo:
It really is good stuff! Really!

SEAFOAM has a lot of fans on this site. I used it for the first time last year when my carbs started pissing gas. Worked great!
I mixed it according to the label instructions into 1 gallon of gas and it worked very quickly (carb stopped pissing gas out the overflow) and have added it every few tankfulls ever since.

I let my Voyager sit for about 4 months during the winter, and the Primary Jets got gummed up. Bike would run, but wouldn't idle. I put about 6 oz of Seafoam in with 2 gal of fresh gas, and started doing laps around the block. By the time I'd gone thru the 2 gallons, the bike was idling pretty good. I put in another 6 oz of Seafoam and 3 more gallons of gas, and the it's idling fine now.
I put about 3 oz of Seafoam in the Voyager and the KZ about once a month now. Great stuff!
