Does anyone know of a good source to get values for older bikes. My insurance is wanting something that shows the value of my Z1 before they will let me get full coverage insurance.

In the filebase here: Vintage Kawi Prices a 74 Z1A is priced from $1600 ~ $8000 US$, depending on condition, in the Vintage Motorcycle Price Guide Nov. 2005.
Ebay may raise this somewhat for a stock pristine bike.

Since you really need an accurate estimate, I think they should find someone knowledgeable in vintage/collectible bikes and get a professional appraisal.

The 2007 edition of Vintage Motorcycles values 1974 Z1A (I assume this is your bike?) between US$2600 and US$13000...but there are six different 'grades' of Z1A's depending on condition....you need to pick up a copy of this (I bought mine at Barnes and Noble) and you really have to be pretty savvy to figure out where your bike falls within the six grades. Follow NONB's advice.
