Reserve met at $7999 in case anyone cares. Someone's going to be a new owner it appears.

Noticed where The Gringo
has removed the jumbo
link from his earlier post.
but print still ran off page
throughout entire thread )
On the theory that one jumbo
link posted anywhere within
a thread causes the entire
thread to run off the page,
I have also removed the jumbo
links quoted in my earlier posts.
(but print still running off
page throughout entire thread :pinch: )
Presently, the last remaining
place in this thread where a
jumbo link appears is
Bluemeanie's 2007/12/15 09:00 post.
So am wondering if Bluemeanie
could delete the jumbo link
(or most of it), whether the
screen would return to normal.
If that fails and the print
continues running off the page,
don't know what else to suggest
other than the old standby
of "right-click, select-all"
whereby the printing is
reversed but readable.

Wow! That was my "dream" bike for many years, the EFI Z1 Classic. Of course it was just a dream and as I learned more about electronics, I came to realize that a first generation anything is worth staying away from.
Very nice bike. I'm glad I checked in here.
I heard a rumor of a nearby dealer that supposedly has warehouses full of new bikes and such that never sold. The rumor claims that he probably has forgotten about them, but, from what I know of the guy, if anyone expressed an interest, he'd want top dollar. :pinch:

Harley Davidson- Turning gas into noise without the harmful affects of horsepower for over 100 years.

I bet he was expecting more than that. Kind of a disappointing price. As we said before the fuelie is not a real popular bike but still $8600 is very low for a new in crate bike. Maybe people saw it in person and it was worse than the pictures show.
