Buyer Beware. Don't believe it's an LTD.

Has LTD chain guard, seat, shocks (maybe), tank, side covers (emblems at least).

But doesn't have the rear disk brake, exposed rear disk master cylinder, LTD front fender, LTD rear fender, LTD headlight mounting bracket, handlebar mounted front turn signals.

And maybe other details I've missed.

One Owner -- -- should know better.

KZ900 LTD??

And what about the OEM genuine Morris Mag wheels?

Edit -- Mcdroid is correct with Morris Mag (not "Jardine" as I was thinking exhaust )

Yeah...looks like a 1976 standard...if you have an LTD why would you lose the dual disks up front?...and the original Morris mags?...they alone are worth a fair amount...and replace the LTD tank with a standard tank... things that appear to be LTD are the sidecover emblems and the chrome instrument covers. :)

Noticing more details --

Single forward mounted caliper front disk (ala standard KZ900-A1) and not dual rear mounted calipers front disk OEM on KZ900-B1 LTD. :)

Yep I'm debating if I should burst his bubble and tell him what he really has, a cobbled up 76 KZ900. I would value it between $1750 and $2500. I wouldn't pay that much, but given what the market is I'm betting that is what gets bid.

Do it gently...tell him to check the frame VIN...that will separate the KZ900A from the B's:laugh:

I'll bet $2500 bid results in reserve not met. A real beauty there and rare. Kept really nice, hard to find in this great condition

321,000 miles on KZ's that I can remember. Not going to see any more.

Yeah, looks like a standard with some LTD add-ons. The front blinkers are mounted to the headlight. On the LTD, they're mounted to the handlebars. Also, his front fender is from a standard. The LTD fender is shorter.
He says he's the original owner, but I'll bet that's not true. Seems like he'd know what he bought, even if it was 31 years ago.

The only LTD parts I see on that bike are the chrome meter covers, the seat, the rear shocks, and the side cover emblems. Everything else is either standard KZ900 or God knows what aftermarket. It looks like a fairly nice daily rider, but far from what I'd consider collectable.

Someone posted a picture of those style mags on another site and was inquiring what make they were...I missed the response...do you know what they are?
