Im not sure if its the pictures or the bike but the bike looks like it was either sitting in a garage where they painted something and its got a lot of overspray on it or ... it sat outside in the rain a few times during a frost and the engine is pitted now...... Someone should E-mail him and ask him for the vin

I was friendly, just trying to be helpful. I said that the bike looks more like a Standard, and that you could tell by the Frame Number (KZ900B- vs. Z1F-).
Maybe he'll respond?

I think you're right, probably just a guy that doesn't know much about bikes... probably not the original owner. I don't plan to bid on it, but I gave him info on how to identify the model. He can use it if the wants to, or not.

That's because he's changed the listing. All it took was a few people to contact him and tell him in a nice way that the bike is a nice KZ but not a REAL LTD;)
I've found not everyone lists things wrong trying to rip you off. Some people just don't honestly know!
