there seems to be quite a bit of interest in this subject. any members who are interested in this being a topic please respond. it would be great to have a streetfighter forum within kzrider. please help. tell your friends neighbors whoever lets just get it started.

I like the idea. I am new here and recently picked up a 1981 KZ1100 shaft I took in partial trade for a car. I am almost done with my street fighter conversion. I got a ton of information and ideas from this sight already.

Good luck with it. I helped with the start of the "projects" forum since most of us are involved in a KZ project of some type. Its not hard to do just email the moderator and get the ball rolling.

I suggest a "custom" forum instead, to allow any streetfighter-chopper-cafe bike "expression" be included- because the definitions are not excactly written in stone :laugh:

If it is a "custom" forum, might head off at the pass long, tired, reposts of 'what is a chopper/bobber/streetfigther/cafe racer" to be rehashed over and over.

As a moderator, I'd have a difficult time deciding on which threads belonged in this newly proposed forum, especially since the members can't agree on a definition of a "StreetFighter". As a member, I just don't see a need, but am willing to listen and learn.

For the time being I'd suggest that the "Projects" forum is the best place for custom works.

I agree, I'm pretty new to this forum, but a "custom" section that is specifically there fro the purpose of showing of custom DIY/writeups and photo shoots would be great. There seems to be a slowly growing cafe/streetfighter following and it would be nice not to have to dig through the archives to find the good stuff ;)

Oh jeez, let's not start trying to define what is what's not etc!!
I like the idea of a Customs forum. Maybe split Projects into 2 forums, one for stock restoration/rebuild projects, and the other for 'Fighters, Bobbers, Choppers, Cafe Racers and Pro Street bikes etc.
