of course he got mad and told me not to speak to him like that.
i told him he has a better chance of riding my wife then my bike.
was i out of line or would've this pissed you off also?
want to sit on her then just ask, never assume it would be ok is my opinion!
alomst had to fight to defend the old girl who i felt was violated today.

throw a wrench next time
With my luck, I'd miss him and hit the bike
Sitting on my bike, or getting in my truck, without permission, will both lead to serious bodily harm the second time.
The first time results in my asking "Are you just naturally stupid, or did you suffer a serious head injury?".

The parts guy yelled a similar, but non-expletive comment at him. The parts guy explained that it was *his* bike, and he parks it there.
In this case, the other guy was shocked because, as he explained, the bike was right there on the floor with other (most new) bikes and he assumed it was for sale, and thought nothing wrong of sitting on it.
Could this have been the case where you were?

I don't know about anyone else I don't get into a vehicle or on a Bike that's not mine unless I ask first. That goes for vehicles or Bikes for sale also.

he knew it was mine because it was the only other bike there.
he just took it upon himself to jump on my steed.
he seen me pull up and in a shop of 4 people , he knew who it belonged to.
i just yelled at him because i thought it was stupid to take it any further since he is new to this country. (he is from cuba)
either way, he got a education today.
what if it was a member of the "well known clubs" bikes?
he would've got a a$$ kicking today!
still had to go home and wash her.
my ass is the only one she needs to sit on her. :woohoo:
like sandy said "look don't touch"

Nates vintage bike axiom: Riding is the reward for time spent wrenching.
Murphys corollary: Wrenching is the result of time spent riding.

I remember once when I was a kid, one of my friends sat on my dirt bike and was screwing around, the next thing I know, I'm putting in a new 2nd gear. I found out later he thought it would be interesting to run in through the gears while it wasn't running.
