That's all folks! Shouldn't be many changes after Sunday, I ran most of it Thursday night and will confirm the rest Sunday and make any changes necessary.

I lied... there's more!

The weekend we will be in Metamora the Miami Whitewater Valley Railroad will have an old restored steam engine running between Metamora and Connersville. (Both are on the route)

Any train buffs will want their camera for grabbing some shots of old #75. Just a note, old #75 will only be there the weekend before and the weekend of the rally.

We will also stop briefly in Connersville at the MWV Railroads rail yard as their museum is right alongside IN121 on our route. There are dozens of old passenger cars, caboose's and other cars and engines.

I need a volunteer to lead a 3rd relaxed group if everyone that has signed up shows up, just shoot me a PM, email or post here if you can lead about 6-8 bikes. If you like I can put the number 3 group between the other two groups so we can help if you have a problem navigating the route.

Naw it's not hard to navigate at all really. Just wanted to assure anyone that has never lead a group that there's be help nearby. Now Indiana is a different beast when you start riding on the unlined roads, maybe there is a sign but probably there isn't! All of our routes on Indiana roads are lined or well marked. There are only 3 roads that aren't lined (just as you get to the bridges) but their street signs are there as well as the bridge signs.

Race to Lexington and back? Sure! But lets make it interesting, we'll take US27... 2 lane, lots of little town with Buford Pusser cops and plenty blind curves with tractors! :laugh:

Just an update that we are still on for Saturday.

If the weather becomes an issue I'll let everyone know of the change in plans. I have sent everyone that signed up an email about this, if you didn't receive your email contact me right away.

Melvis & Abbie, your email you provided when you signed up isn't working, let me know what it should be by emailing me.

Shoe48, I didn't have your email address, send me an email and I'll add you to the notification list if there is a change or something to the rally.

Am I the only one watching the weather ,, Didnt think so looks like it go around the ride on Saturday BUT some will find it on their way home Yep maybe me

That's all I have been watching, both on the tube and on the net. It is hopefully going to be a hit or miss thing Saturday. I'll be watching it closely up until the start but as of right now it is on, it will take a constant heavy rain or bad storm to cancel the rally. If needed we will delay the start or take other actions to deal with the rain. Let's hope for the best and deal with what we get.

Well, it looks like we're still in. Trying to get something worked out for my brother to be able to go. His 1000 LTD got the engine cases cacked a few days ago while trying to replace a output shaft bearing. Anyone have a spare 79 1000 engine?????

Something I got to thinking about, is Indiana a helmet state? I like riding without, but do have them. I think everyone should check to make sure!
