~PHOTO LINK IS UP!~ Ohio Fall 2007 KZ Rally

Sounds like a good time. I am in Dayton and it wouldn't be that bad of a ride for me. Hopefully I will have my KZ back together otherwise I would have to ride my ZX6R, Oh bummer! Ha!. Keep me posted as things progress. I have not rode the bike in that area but do have a few accounts out that way that I service and used to go to Harrison as a kid to my Grandparents house. My schedule is pretty flexible for Sep unless the wife comes up with something... which we all know takes precedence over all other worldly events.

Just bought my first bike, 1982 kz 750 ltd. Hopefully by September I'll be ready to ride with you all. I live in Western Hills but would have to come home from school in south east Kentucky for the weekend. Sounds like fun...

I like the sounds of this group thing, but as for location.... you know they say, location!location! It's a bit too off center for us western US kzer's. I understand you have links and stuff there, but talk to one of the California boys and see what there reply is!

Yeah I know, but what needs to happen is for several of these regional rally's to start happening. I know there is a large contingent of west coast KZr's so maybe a centralized location on the coast would work for those folks.

After I get this the web site up I could pretty easily setup a web page for anyone in any other area that wants to try to organize a rally. The sites nothing fancy, but it will get the job done.

Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see some of you guys from as far away as the coast make it. I just am encouraging others to consider this as a lot of KZr's would love to have something like this in their local region too.

I'm located in just west of Indianapolis and this sounds like fun... Should have the bike together by then.

Brian..wife and I will be attending friday night and she will ride along with me on the covered bridge ride. We will head home after the end of the day meal get together.

We will be heading out to start laying out the actual ride here pretty soon and if your interested in joining us when we do, let us know.

<b> The motel information is now up on the site. These are the closest motels to the Rally location and other rally events. Reserve early as there isn't a lot of rooms left available for that weekend.</b>

Hello all!
I've been away for a while, but it's nice to be back. I just registered Abbie and me for the ride. I like the idea ofbridge ride. Abbie and I got married on the covered bridge outside of Waynesville. Sounds like fun, and thanks for taking the initiative to get this going!

I'm thinking about riding my bike, if it's running smoothly by then. It's got some vacuum leak issues and exhaust issues, but I think it will all be ironed out by then. The tank looks pretty gnarly inside, but we're talking about having it boiled out or something like that. I'm almost ashamed to admit that while Mellvis was wrenching I was sitting back watching him and having a drink... If I can't be hands on, I can provide lots of moral support. I'm also the steppinfetchit (beer, wrenches, sockets, nuts and bolts that try to roll away), so I do my part I guess. I'm also outstanding at holding a flashlight or trebel light for midnight mechanics.

Where was I going with this??? Oh yeah, I was concurring that yes, we will be going. I should have plenty of time to get time off work by then and I'm sure it will be a fabulous time.

Obviously if I'm riding my own bike I'll be in the slow and steady group...
