Let the Fun begin!! Once everything is clean it's like putting a puzzle together. Super Nice, correct "brushed", job on those fork lowers! Can't really tell by the photo but did You clear-coat them like original? Kinda look like it in the photo. If You did then what did you use??

The ole scotchbrite, the final sweet touch after wearing-thru the elbow grease sanding out all the imperfections! I've been looking for some clear product for years that can duplicate the original clear-coating. The closest I've come is had a set of the Z1's clear powdered, came out pretty good except for some minute bubbles. Looking Good my Friend!!

Here's something useful maybe? I see you have "replacement" rear shocks installed. Did you know that one can rebuild the originals, as long as the dampers still have, well damping? I don't purchase aftermarket ones, like to keep the date code on the lower mount intact. Yours, being a 76, should have a singular LETTER stamped into that lower, unlike the reflector Z1 shocks. Anyway i have the coils re-chromed and the lower adjuster. Then re-zinc the lower spring plate. Perhaps overkill but..

Some "final touches" if You choose. The 76-77 Hazard switch mounted on the RH side of the handlebar clamp bracket. And the often irritating piezo-electric turn signal buzzer/notifier of when you have the L/R turn signal knob in a turning position. I'm getting ready to send a couple of those hazard switch brackets out to have re-plated that "olive-drab". Disregard if you just decided to delete, which not a problem. Anyway i thought an interesting aspect for ALL to see what makes-up one of the internals of this TK switch.

Looking very nice. Personally I think you rear axle is through the wrong way. Nut should be on the RH side. At least it’s shown that way in the FSM
