I've managed to get the headers sorted, in the end it was easiest to chop a section off and graft in new so I could get the angles the way I wanted, also had to extend #3 by 8mm in the height to get it to line up as I wanted   just the intermediate pipe and the rear mount now

I wouldn't worry about the rest of the pipe; I'm sure it will sound great as-is.

Well done you!

Agree great looking work. I like the pipe you are building. Looking forward to seeing the rest of it.

gd4now your wish is my command. Have managed to get the exhaust wrapped up this weekend and I couldn't be happier with the end result. I wanted to keep the look of the Harris but repair the damage and maximise the clearance. A big issue for me which was the driver for "tucking it in" as well as the aesthetics was my "little legs" when I am at a standstill my legs are real close to the bike and I didn't want to burn myself when I put my right leg down   Hope "Harris" don't mind me putting their name on it (some of the original is still there !!) The baffle will be wrapped in wadding on final assembly
It looks close but there is 3mm of clearance throughout the swingarm travel

Thanks for the update! It looks great, which I sort of expected it to having see you work on this project as well as others.  I bet it sounds as good as it looks.

If somebody at Harris is bothered by having the company name on that exhaust system, they should be taken out back and slapped severely.
I doubt seriously if the company ever produced something that nice.

Yeah, that's probably a better idea

The ancient 4-into-1 on my GPz550 has a baffle like that... I assume. It's been stuck for 30 years and I haven't been willing to cut the pipe to take it out.
