I'm just throwing this out here...I have access to an original first gen H2 Triple. It's rough, needs a frame off resto, but the pieces are all there. ..with two spare engines.
I'm not sure I have it in me right now to tackle this, as I have two other on going projects.

It might be available if someone is interested.

I am interested. Where is this bike located?

This is a pic of my 1972 H2 Triple, taken in the mid 70's.

BUY IT!!!!!! And sit on it. You cannot believe what Kawasaki triples are going for now. Even the little 250 S1 triple brings big bucks.

It would be like an investment. Even Ebay prices are crazy for any part that is still usable!!!!

Been watching private sales of these bikes, and its crazier than the Ebay prices.

Do yourself a big favor and buy it. You will kick yourself in the ass in a few years if you don't!!!!!!!

Ugh....Ok a**holes....;)

You convinced me I need to score this, my brother also reminded me I've been lusting for one since 1988 when we saw one racing at SIR in Wa State.

If I decide I can't finish it or whatever...I'll post it on here.

They are awesome! Parts are still mostly available and they are a blast to ride as long as you are going in a straight line. Hell, I enjoy just starting mine up and getting that wonderful sound and smoke in the garage!
The most expensive mechanical thing will be the crank rebuild. Hopefully rods are not bent.

From what I can tell the engines and cranks are all low time. There are three complete ones. I have one now that I was fiddling with, and it's shiny new on the inside.

I'm a two-stroke aholic...the more the merrier..I currently have an 85 RZ350 that I built as a full tilt stage III racer in the early 90's , converted/restored it to street trim. But it still has the built engine, just detuned a little for low end. It just keeps on going up in value... And the assorted RD, GT, and two stroke dirt bikes..over the years. Hell I even have a few two stroke chainsaws just for fun, and model airplane engines, etc....

One day I hope to score a RZ500, NS400, Gamma 500... But those are as stupidly priced as every other smoker these days....
