Thanks man..

Yes the mirrors are borderline useless !!! I'm working on a way to securely mount the ones that clamp inside the handlebar tube.
As for the brake/tail light, it is a flexible led strip tucked just under the tail fairing..super bright, it lights up the whole wheel well when you hit the brake.

If it aint broke, it will be when I'm through !

We just grabbed a pair off of eBay...be sure to sort for products in the USA !!!!!

I really like the checkered flag motif. It gives the bike a real vintage appearance. Also love those grips. I just bought 3 sets of them for all the KZs. Oh, and the choice of beer on the shelf is also one of my faves :)

I hope you took your kid out for ice cream of something to congratulate her on a job well done?
I have a granddaughter that shows the same interests in tools. Always wants to help even when the hammer or drill is too heavy for her to hold yet. LOL. Seems all this talk about girls lagging behind boys in STEM pursuits may be changing...

Thanks Man !!!! She is 16 so she demanded that I do a Prime Rib Roast for her and her friends..... A small and TASTY price to pay for the bonding experience !!
