Hello everyone , I've never posted online before so I hope I'm in the right area. I have read and learn a lot from this sights forum and figured it was time to say hi. I have a new project and will need help when I inevitably get lost so here it is. A friend of mine gave me a 1980 a4 that he has stored since 1990 it has 1900 org miles and is complete an d turns over. I want to restore it back to original it's black with gold pin stripes. I will post pictures soon but if anyone has advise on the proper way to proceed I would greatly appreciate it thank you.

I have a few more photos the question I want to ask you guys is this bike worth restoring. It reminds me of my first new bike when I was young a ha 1100 extra. But I don't know the value of this one I've read that it might be rare. And I do so miss my 82 ha of my youth thanks for any help.

Nice bike. It's not if it's worth it, is it worth it to you?
