Doing good on the build. Got my alloy wheels. Rear wheel hub didn't match from the spoke hub. Ordered hub that should fit. Got the swing arm off finally. Removed handlebars and cabling that was through the bars.
Have to remove the forks next. Need lots of parts. Concentrating on getting all hardware off for plating and sent off. I think I'll start from the front and work my way back.
Didn't know that the goose bike wasn't well known. The real goose bike was. a 77 KZ1000. I'll do the best I can .

Screw the Bronze, we all know that Bubba Zanetti and Toecutter's bikes were the best.
I'll be watching your progress, good luck.

I thought so. I wonder how much flow would make it to the cooler that way. I'm trying to get these but they're out of stock.

Good question, as I am curious as to the same thing for my KZ 1327 build. I suppose if anyone had that info (calculations) it wld be Patton. He seems to have a collection of genuine printed material and information and someone once compared his collection of info to the Library of Congress.

I guess if even 1/4 of the flow made it to the cooler it would help if in more cooling surface. ![ ](/media/kunena/emoticons/22.png)

My thought is to temporarily connect it with a clear line to get a visual of the flow rate.

Good idea. I'm thinking about some kind of bypass valve for winter riding.

I've used that method in the past on 2-cyl and 3-cyl bikes and got good visuals of actual oil system flow rates at various rpm's with good success. I'm sure it wld work the same on any motor.

Quick update. Replaced fork seals and cleaned and lubed fork stem bearings. Need to add 10 weight fork oil. Rebuilt front and rear master cylinders. Rebuilt front caliper. Need new seals to complete rear caliper rebuild. Replaced front pitted piston. Replaced one rear caliper piston. Replaced turn signal lamps and reused stems. Rewired turn signals.
Bought cast wheels, and 4-2 exhaust. Bought used seat to use during shakedown. Cleaned petcock, but need new seals.
Still waiting on my hardware to be returned from plating.
Funds are low due to new bathroom costs and Christmas etc etc. eventually I'll get new tires mounted and all the misc rubber bits seals and hoses cabling etc. doing all labor like polishing and painting. Rust removal and the like. Also need new handle bars. It's cleaning up nicely.
Regards,
COKID
