Seems like it would be easier to move the bags and fairing from the KZP to the 1300 frame...

Also a bare frame and motor, on it's own without about 2000 other parts numbers, a lot of them unique to z1300 is a difficult/uneconomic proposition to restore, so making something out of the existing frame and motor would be more feasible.

Correct definition of custom, BUT a long spindly chopper with a wide inline 4 never looks right, an even wider 6 will most likely make the power plant look like an afterthought no matter how much work and planning go in.

Pulled it off is up to interpretation; cafe, bobber, chopper is supposed to be a bike you make lighter with less BS, and to look right, I hate to say it chops are supposed to be narrow, ala a v-twin, a vertical twin also works if done right. Also choppers with a huge gap under the tank look wrong to me as well. Not to say it cannot be done. Just that the powerplant doesn't fit the end goal
