If I was closer, I'd come over and get tomo.
I'm sure if it is not stolen and the title is clear... a few bucks in the right direction would get me a Colorado title.....

You're right. Someone could get a lien sale or even pay the fees. Trouble is, no one wants to pay what somethings worth. I'll just keep listing it until it sells for what I want. Kind like it being around.

I'd get rid of the touring stuff, knock it down a bit and turn it into a little pocket rocket semi-cafe' bike.
Hey, why don't you just list what you want for it.... I'm sure there are others here like me that have much more lenient motor vehicle laws regarding abandoned and salvage title vehicles... 5 years here with nobody claiming it and you have a CO State Trooper inspect it, you pay the estimated sales tax value and file for a temp or lost title. If it's clean, license it for $68.00 buy $90.00 worth of liability insurance and ride it 'til one or the other of you drops dead.

I thought about taking the wind shield off and the rack but some people like it. My bottom line is $600 if I don't have to deal with it.

I think that is reasonable too... the only glitch is the title thing, but for $600 and a little homework, somebody should be a happy rider.
I guess with the title issue, you come down a bit in price by pulling the touring gear off and selling those components separately.... even though you don't want to mess with it.
I bought my KZ750B used and removed stuff I didn't want.
Within the first month, I got a very good price for the windscreen, luggage rack and sissy bar!
That really helped the bottom dollar.... put about 4K on the bike in one and half summers and sold it "as is, where is" for $350 more then I paid for it, and that was not including the cash I got for the take offs.

We'll see if it sells. If nothing else, I can ride it and work on Bossie. Being I bought it parts only, I may be able to Lien Sale it or get a salvage title.

My neighbor got a bike. It's been down. Looks like a Honda water cooled. He put it where I can see it leaving every day. He tried to play me on the 550, now it looks like he want's me to work on his. We'll see, he won't like what I tell him.
