If at first you don't succeed,try again and again and again and in my case again. Finally got electrical box done. everything fits,door gave me a fit but got it done. Now just some clean up on it. got seat mounted too. Next foot controls.

What's going to prevent cracking/breaking at the weld (see circle in 1st image below) when the bike hits a bump? :unsure: Stranger things have happened (see 2nd image). Ed

I thought about too. I was thinkin of some gussets on the sides and under neath to cap it off and a fill piece in front of seat. something like this.

Didn't like the way the gas tank sat on bike so I gutted it and built a new tunnel to drop it lower. I also got my triple clamps back from machine shop. I bought a set off a 1980 750 that were a lot cleaner lookin than the ones on the 1100. Had them bored out to accept the 38mm forks on the 1100.

Got the foot peg mounts tacked in place and tank mount done. Hope to finish all the little things this weekend so I can strip it down and finish weldin it so I can drop it off at powder coater on way to vegas next week.

MAD MAX MEETS KZ. Got some little things done today. skid plate lookin x-metal, bar stops, gussets under neck and jockey shifter. pipes next.

Quick update , Frame is all done along with swing arm mod. Motor pulled, gonna drop frame,swing arm and wheels off to be powder coated on way out of town in morn. I only sacrificed one thumb to the wheel bearing gods. Hopefully when I get back I can start rebuild and tackle the sheet metal. Headed to vegas to skydive and party wit son on his 21st, later.

I got all the small parts finished and prepped for paint, and shot them. The next weekend I bolted parts on to have rolling chassis and check it out.
