Yes! project looks great! Love them new seats too!
Cool aluminum rear, D.I.D. or Borrani?
You know the chrome plater? $$$ Or did you want to keep the originals?
Paint going to be OEM Brown?
Nice work.

Leon ...both wheels are Aluminum D I D.
Z1kzone...yes going to cost me money. Rear fender is $115 and the rear wheel is $150 to re chrome.
Keeping original including paint and in the future I'll get the 4 into 4 exhaust.

I hope the Repro 4/4 exhaust is better quality. The baffles started to rot out the first 2 years.

As you can see the bike is in one piece.
Little things still needed but drivable.
So before I went on s test drive I decided to check for proper charging voltage and found out that it was only charging 13v.
Yes at idle and between 4 and 5 K.
Did all the test according to the book and found the Stator ohming out at .2 and it should be between.5 and .85. So I need s Stator.
Who has purchase a new one and from who?

Well fellow members my 76kz900 is on the road. Took it for a 70 mile cruise and it runs strong and like new.
Only thing I need is the front brake line brackets and a paint job.
If anyone has any questions on my project please ask.
for those that help and answer my questions I thank you.
I'll post again once I get my paint job..

Thx for the kind words
I'm working on a list "money" what it takes to restore one of this bikes.

Well after 5 weeks.....I got my rear fender and rear wheel back from the Chrome shop.
Fender not a problem...matter of bolting it on but the wheel....will be a challenge to lash it on the hub.
Local shop wanted $325 ....Crazy
