So I wheeled myself out to the garage yesterday to see what I could get done from the wheelchair. The bike has been sitting without the carbs or exhaust on it since the 7th of august and I did not get a chance to plug up the ports. And look what I found beside the bike..

This is a 1978 z1r. I have one manual that tells me I can take the top fork cap bolt in and large ball bearing to fabricate a tool to remove the starter rotor .the top cap on my z1r is not the top cap bolt pictured in that manual. my Ltd has the half inch square screw .I have not taken that out I'm wondering if it's the right size.? I doubt it can anyone recommend anything else to remove this I'm in wheelchair of course and am limited to what I have in the garage . thanks

Pulled the Dynamo rotor off, only to find no thrust washers looks like it might have been welded on and disintegrated what do you guys think?
also found one complete set cap spring and roller missing I'm thinking the previous owner forgot to install it if he had it apart
