When getting gas inevitably some usually, mentions "I used to have one of those!' or had a friend that had one Or those used to be really fast bikes. My reply, no matter what you have there is going to be a faster one made. And in 1976, I never knew they made that many! He He.

Jim Irwin bought the 76 KZ 900. Came with the 26mm carbs and slight changes. Annoying turn signal beeper (unplugged) but what I noticed I liked was the fuse box. After the wreck in 86, I adapted one for my bike. Jim felt ripped off because of the carbs. He was even more pissed when the KZ 1000 came out the next year. Marketing. :whistle:
