Good lookin' ride! I had a 76, 900. It was a beast! I just scored a 75 Z1-900 street/strip that has been stretched and raked for the strip. I am told it isn't a 900 anymore. Can't wait to get her on the road... ;)

It'll go...or...It'll blow!

Yeah I know, I really don't want to sell it I'm having a blast with it. I can't go anywhere with it without someone giving me a complement and an old war story about there 900 they once had back in the day funny all the story's are mostly how fast they were and Near death experience kinda scary I was told they were nick named the widow maker hahaha. I put a high reserve on it. If it sells well it sells if not I will continue to ride the crap out of it. I'm suppost to send it in to my painter 1st week of July to have redone in diamond green.here a few more pics.last pic is what it looked like 1st day I got it

Yea I know all about the old war stories, I got all kinds of em, when I went up to Milwaukee for the 100, 105, & 110 year Harley Anniversaries, all those Harley guys said they wish they never got rid of theirs, that it was one of the best & fastest bikes they ever owned !!
The bikes that were really called widow makers, were the 750 triples, 2 strokes B) B)

+1...........Everytime I take my '75 Z1-B 900 out for a spin someone wants to try and buy it and or spin a tale about so n so who had one back in the day!
My cousin had a "Widow Maker" 750 triple back in 1975 ,I think his was actually a '73 model, it was Gold, I do remember that ( ??) but anyway, that thing was "STUPID FAST!! I can remember thinking at the time he was gonna get hurt bad on it! Fortunately he didn't and we both still ride!

Yea, Ed, I remember riding my friends 750 back in the late 70s, with all that power, & such a lite front end, the front wheel would float about an inch or 2 off the ground when you were getting on it, & if you didn't have the handlebars perfectly strait when you came down, ...you were going down, & down HARD...thus...the Widow maker
