The factory service manual doesn't make mention of applying loctite or anything to the head bolts, just torqueing them in the correct sequence....
Maybe start a new thread asking the specific question will net you a faster reply...?

Yes us red lock tight on the stud for the case side, and torque them to spec. do not use locktight on the head nuts.

Thank you guys for helping out. I ended up using blue loctite. Hopefully that will be sufficient. Everything is all torqued down, just gotta put the cams and everything back in. Hope it starts back up without issue haha
