Thanks, the effect of the mess being so close to personal space applies this drive not normally had with projects like these. I love the journey of a build but on this one im focusing on the result I want to see. So I have a unnatural hop in my step haha

This is my seat pan, I am going to do a flat top fake leather padded seat. I put burlap on the bottom because it looks cooler than fibre glass to me and I have resin infused with burlap with great result. The benifits of burlap are; I live in Downtown Seattle...so burlap bags from coffee shops are free, A little bit lower impact on environment after im dead and it deteriorates, Get the strength while saving money on fibre glass.
The top two layers is threaded fibre glass, all held together with clear epoxy 3 to 1 resin
The only part that will be showing is the burlap bottom. I will be wrapping over the edges with brown fake leather.

Thanks you much for the supporting, I had a huge setback with my budget, having to use the 300 I made for/off the bike as well as personal funds on a new laptop because after three years the fighting Toshiba finally croaked, I have to have a computer with college coming up.
Yes, With the stall I am beginning to use whats left of materials from other projects to get me to the next stage.
Which has a lot to do with my Ebay shopping cart haha
Thanks again for the kind words

While building the seat, I came to the realization 'I can do better'. After failing to make a Tracker tail shape with wire, I decided to just make a cafe. The shape I went with is a mix between a square KZ tail and a classic cafe seat. Not a new shape to cafe's...but its mine haha

I have put about Six hours into cleaning my wheels. Sanded through the rough parts of my hands, almost started a chemical fire with the Epoxy Resin and halfway ruined my favorite pants...Good day!
I am still hard at work on the bike. I cant stop, I cant stop to the point of feeling addicted to the project. Im starting to notice the ATM effect (get back what you put in). I have very high hopes for this bike.
So I am 22 years old, I've worked on motor bikes and cars since I was 14. My first job being in a motorcycle shop, my latest job also being a mechanic at a motorcycle shop. Before that was a diesel shop in Wyoming and auto body shop here in Seattle. I tell you all that this bike will represent all the skills picked up by me over the years. Im almost halfway through the bike and I have used countless maneuvers I learned from these previous jobs. This project has become so fluid in motion that it's making feel as if I know what Im doing. I'm finally proud to say I almost do.
This is important to me because all the years I put into machines, it felt forced. I resented the inter workings of a machine. I thought the only reason I stayed in the industry was because I had no option. I am coming to realize the loyalty was much deeper than comfort.
This will be good. Im glad this site allows me to showcase all this in such a positive environment. Thank you all who are posting kind words on the thread. Keeps me coming back to share all I can with you guys.
This post is less of a update, more of a mindset showcase
