I just finished up my 900 Ltd re-build. Had a blast last summer breaking it in. I've got a line on paint if you'll looking to keep it original, although your paint doesn't look that bad from the pics.
Original pipes are a bear to find. I was lucky to find a set on e-bay that didn't go for an arm and leg. My original headers are pretty good and the mufflers exterior are solid, just not perfect. The problem is that the baffles rotted out and the PO just jammed some perforated pipe into them. If you knew someone that could rebuild the baffles, I could clean out my garage....I mean let go of these for really cheap.
Have fun!

cover, but tailpiece is faded and I bought a new one from Z1. Z1
by the way is so far a great place to order from as I've had no
problems with there service. I've just finnished looking at Kijiji
Toronto and wish my bank account had a few more bucks- 75 Z900 $3000
and an 81 1000 Ltd for $950, both bikes looked nice but i think
the 75 was bored out. I'll post more pics as I go along. I still
have a bit of reading to do, I think I've only read just shy of 500
of the posts on the site, so i still have a few to go!

Great to see it; nice score, and great work on the restoration. Also excellent to see another Canuck on the KZ(ed)R forum.
Check out the Ontario thread, there are a handful of us, if you haven't gotten to it yet.
Hope to see ya on the road sometime.
