Just as an aside i found that the small oil sight glass
on the clutch cover was very dirty, but didn't really want to chg it.
so I used CLR and soaked it for about 30 mins then used a Q-tip
to wipe inside, and it came out like brand spanking new.

Order some new side cover grommets from Z1E. I was looking at the grommets on the 900B I have and it looks as if they were designed to pop the side covers out. A lot diffrent than the later years. Roy

Yes I just got some new grommetts from z1 which i will put on.
the engine is in and this week & it will go in to get it's certification,
But i have to recheck the wiring as everytime i turn the key on it blows
the 20 amp fuse. More than likely it's something i connected wrong so
i will go thru the system with my wiring diagram and see what i come up
with. as an aside i came across a Yoshi header and can for my 84 vf750,
which should be ready soon. I also e-mailed Bassinni exhaust to see if
it was possible for them to reproduce their old kz exhaust if enough orders
were placed (and how many orders it would take), and I'm waiting for an answer.

Hey Kid thanks for the link. I've seen your stuff before
and like the work you do. So far I've redone the switches
twice and will try again after the summer, I"ve had 2 Carpel
Tunnel operations on my hands in the last 2 years and there
is not a lot of feeling left in them, but I will get those
controls done properly. Charles, I just missed out on a
police bike before i found out about this one. I essentially
bought this Ltd sight unseen. Have fun with your build and
keep us informed.

So today she was picked up and taken for her certification.
I'm cheating abit and getting Robby at Rocket Cycle to figure
out my fuse blowing problem, More than likely something I
hooked up wrong, but I'm getting antsy to ride, so I'll let
them take care of it.
