My first kawa. and it was free!!!!!!! was created by shaun86chevy
What's up everyone. I am the prowess owner of an 82 kawa kz750h its chain drive. My buddy brought it over one night to do some work on it and it just never left then one day he just handed me the title and said fix it if u want it. So one battery and some plugs and a little carb work and bam good clean looking and running bike for bout 80 bucks. So now its cold so now it sitting over the winter. So it the best time to mod it. My look is kinda bobberkinda drag. I'm gunna put solid struts on it lower TMUS front 2 inches ad some clipons and throw so new lights on.her then remove all bs tabs and junk from the frame and paint the whole bike. Frame gloss black tank and custom genders will be satin black with some kawa green accents here and there. I'm funna put a simple harness wires in her and then white letter tires. I got a good plan and its on paper but its slow cause funds a.re low bit will happen.I will post pics of the bike tommorrow and throughout the build. Any ideas let me know like where to get cool lights and solid struts maybe some cheap fender blanks

If that was an issue you could have a sleve made to fill the gap ?

Just a cheep easy idea for parts not saying they are not going to need some fab to work right.

Might consider also posting this to the "Wanted" section in the "Classifieds" forum, where it would draw further attention.

Good Fortune! :)

And as always, Ebay can be your friend.
As for comments on your design. I can't wait to see how it rides for you. I've never ridden a rigid, so I have no point of reference, but I can say with all certainty, I REALLY like shocks!

I'm liking this build keep up the good work.

my kz is about 100 mile bike i start getting a little weary around 100 miles i have spent a day on a rigid wasn't much worse but I was younger then

Gold wing all day like riding my recliner
KZ1000 150 miles (in and around town) max

Rigid 80 miles (in town) max
LOL

I had a 1000 XLS sportster that 90 mile poker run was like playing football all day I was completely wore out and beat up, but then it's tongue was hanging out riding with the big twins

I would definately own a strut bike If I werent going mono I would build a set for the dragstrip this year I want to run it at least once.
