ok i got my new coil in the mail today, and it read 3.3 ohms and the wires are both intact, i slapped her on and still nothing... the odd thing is... im spraying ether into all the cylinders through the carbs and i took the first spark plug out to check the spark and it hasnt even been discolored at all yet... they are all brand new and this one still looks factory, no soot or carbon at all, soooo am i not even getting my ether/gas into the cylinders?! there IS spark on all 4 plugs

also how loud is a kz1100 on startup? i push the button and the engine spins over fine but its LOUD i dont know if its abnormally loud but its definitely louder than my 750 starting up using the electric start

So when you tried the Ether it did nothing, no pops backfires, or anything?
Can you make and post a video? If so that may help, listening to it try and turn over and start.
Have you checked compression? I didn't see that in your post.

My 81 KZ1100 is noisy when starting. Thought it was just mine. Maybe since they both are, it's normal.

i havent checked compression but the PO.. TOLD me that it was running right up until the spark failed... soo unfortunately my compression tester is at home 2 hours away
