Something I came across, even though it may not be necessary to install, was a valve. So at the opening, just put another pipe that has an adjustable valve. This will change the amount of air coming through is there's too much because of the new pods. Might not look all that great, but would sure get the job done without adjusting carbs. Could adjust the amount of air coming through if you go from a high elevation to low also if your carbs are set up for higher areas.
No cutting needed. Fit all together like it was made for the carbs

Love The PVC used it as an intake for a single carb conversion on my Goldwing Still going strong after 2 seasons.

I was thinking that one was a frame mounting tab for the hard bags that come on the police bikes...

Chaotic is right the second time. That actually is a mounting tab that is threaded. Was looking at it and the stem of the blacked out signals. The thread fits perfect both ways just by chance. Go figure nearly perfect place and no modifications needed. Love it when something I didn't plan comes together.

Hey guys,
Do any of you happen to know how to take the rear shocks apart? I've been tryin to fiddle with them by kinda of releasing the tension of spring but isn't working. Would helpo me move along with the project a good amount.

That will be asking a lot from those shocks. A 250 Rebel weighs 300 lbs.; a KZP weighs 600 lbs. So even if you can trim 100 lbs from the KZP the shocks will be undersized for the job. Ed

Thanks 650. I've decided to not go that route and try to alter the stock rears instead.

So I remounted the speedo to a slightly different location. Didn't like how they were just poking out in front like that. Do you guys think it takes away from the clubmans in this configuration??

I'm liking how you mounted it. It looks like a better spot than stock to me
