I love the 19 on these bikes, what seat is that, I've been making one but that's already low and slick

bike looks great buddy, how do you find the Shinko rear tyre?

i have a set of them on my project bike, havent ridden on them yet...

Yeah the 19 really keeps the nestalgoc looks (imo)


Mine s a ZX6 foam hollowedout to fit my pan with a plain cover les's actually sits lower
when I get time I am gonna cut mine down even lower

I am sold on the shinko's I havent put enough miles on it to really guage the wear
but so far no wear visible

Just got off the phone with Buchanan to price spokes. now I cant decide between stainless and chrome??
the stainless are less expensive but I am an old school chrome guy!!

any input would be helpful

I didn't get many miles out of my 712 Shinko 120/90/18. Bought it his time last year but the bike was down more than it was up. I know I didn't get 2K on it. The front is wearing great. They handle well and are good in the rain. At $50 I had to buy one more to get me through the summer then its time to go wide.

I will admit I only have about 1000 on my advance (shinko) was at the tire shop today and the guy was talking about shinko like they were trash until we settled into the conversation he doesnt like them because there is no markup lol

is your front a 712? I will probably have him order me one

Very nice bike. I see the indiana plate on her, where you located? I'm just south of Indianapolis and would like to check her out in person some time, maybe for a ride.

evansville area was up west of indy last week went for a ride through turkey run was an awesome ride

have plans to head backup that way to do my front end swap maybe we could hook up for a eide before i start removing stuff lol

Yes I also have the 712 on the front. I bought the matching set. The problem with cheap tires is that the rubber is not always centered so you get what I had a bald spot and the rest of the tire is good. The front has been fine. My buddy runs the same brand on his KLR and replaces a rear once a season.

I figure I'm a rear tire a year kind of guy if the front holds up i'm good lol. Well I say that but
really havent punished this rear at all
