Yeah the seat is only temporary. I'll be stitching a new one. The paint came out a little more blue than expected. The base coat is black. The clear has a coarse blue flake. In the shade or at night The bike will look black. That's what I was shooting for. B)

Added a HID and front fairing. Whew almost done for this summer.

Found out number 2 Carburetor is leaking out of the over flow  Maybe stuck float? If it's not one thing it's another.

Could also result from a worn float needle, or dirt at the needle/seat orifice, or a maladjusted float tang, or maybe a cracked overflow tube.

Good Fortune! :)

Seat and paint look good. I hope you plan to run a front fender. It would be a shame to sandblast that tank (and yourself) with street grit, wet slop, etc.

Overflow is most likely just a sticky float needle. Drop that bowl and pull the needle. Clean it and the float valve seat with a Q-tip and non-abrasive cleaner (carb cleaner works) and it should stop the leak. You can do this without removing carbs from bike. Ed

:woohoo: I'm such an idiot. I took the float bowls off and cleaned them all, very little gunk inside. Didn't work. Fuel just kept pouring out the overflows. So I took the bike home so I can bench the carburetors. Well I got to laying down in the bed watching "The Office", when I had a moment of enlightenment. I asked myself if I hooked up the fuel lines right. Maybe I got them backwards. So I got online and looked at the carb info on the filebase, and sure enough I somehow got them reversed. So I jumped out of bed and ran out to the garage. I pulled the hoses and switched them. Turned on fuel and she fired right up and purred. She smoked a lot from all the fuel dumping into the vent ports straight into the engine and exhaust. Might take her for a brisk cruise to the shop in the morn. B)

Hows the bike looking and running? Followed this post for awhile but haven't seen anything recently. The bike looks great though. Your use of the cbr600 inspired me to do the same, I mounted it slightly differently but still looks the same, and I love the look. Good job with that! I have a few bugs to work out with the system, and am going to pm you (KraZ900)
