I am all for modding the shit out of anything you want to mod. I put a CR250 front end on my XL500R so it has disc brakes and better suspension. I then lifted the rear a bit to match the front. I am doing the same thing on my wife's XT250 except with a KDX220 front end. I will have to raise the rear a bit on hers too. That is where I think that you are gonna run into a problem. What are you going to do about the chain rubbing the top of the swing arm so that it can get to the rear wheel? Good luck on your project. Troy341

I think there should be a special award for working on it outside in the snow! If that had been me then you would have heard "your kidding, right?!... 'ell no, not 'til spring".

Yep, UHMW is a good choice. Teflon is still expensive since you are paying for the trade name, and it's not as tough as UHMW.
