i used vht gloss black you dont need a primer because the paint is self etching. i ride is bike alot and the paint has held up great. i would say its good stuff. dont forget to clean it first then scuff it up, i used a drill with a wire wheel - wire brushs ect.( make sure it is clean )

1 of them has the rootbear colored bike in the pic is kz crazy he has a 1991 zx1100 streched & lowered with a 1428 big block kz or there about with a turbo he put in it.the other buddy same deal they run just as good but longer.the zx motors well you know about them.i will get some pics of them, pretty slick setup.

It looks like the root beer KZ still has shocks on the back. Did he make that swing arm? SICK looking bike.

A lowered KZ with drag bars is THE LOOK. :woohoo:

THAT IS A NICE BIKE LAST YEAR HE HAD THE TURBO MOTOR IN IT BUT OVER THE WINTER HE TOOK IT OUT AND PUT IT IN A ZX 1100 BIKE NOT SURE WHATS IN IT NOW.I THINK THE SWINGARM IS FROM D&G CHASSIS

Thanks. That photo of all five of you IS GREAT. I have seen 100s of GXRs parked at grills on some foothill road, but spying one custom KZ always makes me turn around for a 2nd look.

LOL. I have spied one in an intersection and started explaining to my wife all the things the owner appeared to customize. As her eyes glaze over, I know my excitment did not move her at all.
:P

My 26 year old son gets it.

beautiful work man, very impressed. I'm also impressed that owners of 5 bikes like that lived near each other and knew each other.

nelson thank you , there is 2 more not in the pic. that wasnt there that day.there was 6 of us today rode down to mid-ohio for vintage days. our good friend was asked by kawasaki to bring 6 of his bike to show in there tents :woohoo: he has some very nice ones. being around good friends and good bikes makes me feel like i died and went to kz heaven.:silly:we all live within 6 miles of each other
