You're darn right I know. I was only kidding about the polishing anyway. Just my way of saying that whoever polished them did a really nice job. Keep up the good work. I may not comment all the time, but I am watching. One thing I discovered through a lot of pm's after I supposedly finished my build is that I have had a lot of people who were watching, but not commenting.

You are doing one heck of a build! You took something that looked good, and are turning it into something that will look great. I admire all the work you're putting into your project, to get out what you really want. Great job.

ok iam back, now that its a roller it time to put some color on it, i went with a white base then put 3 coats of dimension brite orange with 2 coats of orange pearl and to top it off with 4 coats of clear. carved up the seat and had it covered. put a set of carbin fiber lead t/sigs @ brake light.went with a 1/4 turn throttle, finally it was time to open the shop door and shed light on it.i will say that it rides pretty darn good i cant say that you can go slamming into a rt. corner like a super bike but i am to old for that anyway.its what i wanted and proud to ride it i guess thats all that matters.there is a pic of the cowboys, my riding buddys at a bike show that was 80% harleys and i would say that we got most of the crowds attion:woohoo: iam already looking foreword to the next project.( ill be back ) thanks for looking

thanks leon & sactown900 it seems every bike fuction around me is 90% harley  i think the lines sleek stance and big motor makes kzs stand out. 2 of my buddys 1 of them has the rootbear colored bike in the pic is kz crazy he has a 1991 zx1100 streched & lowered with a 1428 big block kz or there about with a turbo he put in it.the other buddy same deal they run just as good but longer.the zx motors well you know about them.i will get some pics of them, pretty slick setup.i also want to say congrats to another buddy of ours he was invited to bring a couple of his bikes to mid ohio vintage days in the featured bike tent this year:woohoo: i get a kick out of him when he sees one of us butching one of ours he flips. we all live about 8 miles from the track so we will be attending sat. hope to come out with somthing.

def. get us some pics of your buddies bikes kinda has me scratching my head.
opens up a whole new realm of possibilities as ten plus year old sportbikes get cheap.guys like us that already have kz's figured out could slam a breathed on kz engine in a older sportbike and make a street brawler out of that has a more modern frame suspension brake, hmmmm  .
everytime i go out riding my z1r around i end up talkin to someone that wants to look at it and tell stories or reminisce.
pretty cool stuff .

now that everything was done i sanded the frame and painted it a single stage ppg brite black could of had it powder coated but i work at a body shop and paint is no problem.cleaned up the motor and painted it cleand up the chrome replaced all gaskets;cleaned carbs;the whole deal.added breather filter; oil press gauge and its ready to roll.
What paint did you paint the engine with? Mine is VERY OXIDIZED, so if it does not polish out, I might paint it black. Do you use a "heat primer/sealer" first?
I can't get over that great shot of the five bikes in one place. I'd be proud to build any of those.
