Nice looking bike for sure!

Be careful you don't snag any aircraft out of the sky though.

I had to literally clean my carbs 15 times before I got it running good. The first 10 where to get the crap from making my float needles not seal and the last 10 were to make sure all the pilot passages were cleared out well. If you look at some of my recent posts you might find some answers.

Also, I have the OEM manual which was quite helpful. If you PM me your email address I will see if I can't email it to you.

you like my sky hook?, lol im going to make a pad for the sissy bar so it will stay on for now, but my future plans involve a much better look, its on the drawing boards in my mind and i think every one will love it once its done, and ill do a full thread once i start the fab work, thanks it does look good, and the new seat cover came in last night so i pulled the seat apart, wow way worse then i hoped, badly rusted seat pan, havnt decided whether im going to replace it or not. the bike isnt running right so i can ride it, dont want to put a new seat cover on a bad seat. for all thoes that like pics i may try and get a few of it. i think i can power brush it and get most of the scale off, the rest will get prep primed for a good coat of rustolium. but that leaves the rusted through holes. so here is a couple questions, do i just cut them out with a hole saw, or cut same size patches and weld in? the seat hold open braket broke off, rusted through, so i do need to weld or pop rivit it back on. new seat cover over foam.

the one bad spot in the whole seat, it was the foam sticking out through the old seat cover in the pics. i dont think its to bad, im not going back to stock with this bike any way. it should do for a rider as im working on a cool seat,;)

the front " saddle seat" portion got the rust the worst. you can see the oval on the right side, under the silver sticker, where the seat hold open bracket left its hole.

Am vaguely recalling that the oem seats have a piece of clear plastic under the cover and over the foam rubber.

Good Fortune! :)
