KZ900/KZ1000 modified almost complete!

I’ve been working on this bike for quite awhile, and I need to take time to thank KZR and all of the members for the support and the info in all of the posts. I don’t know how much longer it would have taken me to get to this point without the forum, but I’d probably still have the engine in a thousand pieces all over the work bench.

I need to thank a few people that might not even know they helped me; tk11b40, PLUMMEN, mark1122, and of course Old Man Rock, the info from all of you was invaluable.

Thanks,

Dirk (TexasKZ900)

As you can see from the pictures I still need to do some painting, but at least it runs, and runs good.

The paint is DuPont Hot Hues:

Midori Sour (green), Sonic Boom (blue), and Rust-Oleum Silver Metallic.

Everything is or will be covered in a automotive clear.

Dirk you are a man after my own taste. Nice KZ! Now it looks like time to get the motor back in the old Mustang. Is it a 65 or 66?

My son and I are working on that, it’s a 66 coupe and it will be modified like my KZ was.

You can see it needs a lot of work, but my son wants to do most of it.

Shoot I wish that the '66 coupe that I had in high school only needed that much work. Looks like your boy has his priorities straight. The only thing he needs is a haircut:lol: . BTW what part of Texas are you in? Sorry to detract from the killer bike that you built.
