I just ordered a MAP sensor from ebay last night. Unfortunately, UPS delivered my connector to someone else, or somebody stole the box off my doorstep. :( Should have been here Monday, but to their credit Allied Electronics is shipping another package, free of charge. Thanks, again Allied.

The TPS is somewhat of a challenge. You need a solid, stationary mount point for the sensor body, and also an attachment to the throttle linkage. It's a tight space down there.

I have a plan to use a cell phone car charger to provide the 5 VDC to the sensors. It just so happens that a USB port uses 5 VDC, and that's what the cell phones charge off of these days. I just hope that a tps and map don't draw more than a few milliamps or my plan is shot.

i made it out to the shop and once i got warm enough to move around i measured the baffle on the z1r.it was 2 1/2 inches.i need to pull it out and i can get some pics and measurements off of it.
when i wrecked i banged the tailpiece of the wiseco up. riding since with the tweeked places has caused the metal to crack around the outside, right where the end of the baffle stops down inside the tailpiece.
i have an old m4 oval carbon fiber tailpiece that i can salvage and build me a new tail piece for the wiseco with the carbon fiber tailpiece.
it will either be real good or real bad,we'll see

The cold will do that to you Leon. Sounds like you could use a more temperate winter climate. Maybe one that allows you to ride all year long ;)

Ahh, you should just start work at 6:00 am like me. On the short days I'm out at 2:30. Gives me 2 hrs of free time before anyone gets home. Sadly, not too many short days, or happily. Depends on how you look at it.

I'm still waiting for my replacement shipment on the electrical connectors, and I also ordered MAP and Throttle position sensors off of ebay. I'm hoping that those will show up early this week. So in the mean time, I decided to do some body work. First order of business was to weld on the other missing tab on my front fender. While doing that, I noticed a small stress crack.

Next, I decided to try and knock out all the plastic welding necessary. One of the side covers had stress cracks around the mounting pin. The tail piece needed the most work. Lets have a look underneath to see what's crackin' down there:
