If you get it running and detailed, you'd get a lot on eBay. It looks bone stock and that will get you top dollar - probably $3000 or so if the right buyer sees it. I sure wish you were closer to Ohio. I had that exact bike for my first KZ1000 when it was about 7 years old.

As is probably around $800-$1000, running but not detailed probably $1500-$2000, and fully detailed, totally stock, original miles and running perfectly would be $2000 and up. Good luck - hope your brother is back on his feet soon. I'm trying not to sell my bikes right now due to my wife's business going under. Already lost my 72 olds after 22 years - don't want to let the KZ's go - I know how it is...

Your bike with a weekend of cleaning and the low miles would clean up very nice. It would be worth the time to clean it up. I bet once you clean out the tank and carbs it starts right up.

Wow that ebay bike looks nice! It is a repaint for sure but everything else looks excellent - the stock air screw plugs are still in the carbs!! Buy a stock set of body parts and this bike is worth some cash! Looks great as is too.

Those silver and black bikes are realy pretty cleaned up. Unfortunatly you won't get what it is worth from a "normal" person unless it runs. The guys on this site could fix that thing blindfolded with spare parts laying under thier bed, behind the couch, and in thier refrigerator.... for best chance at selling for a good price it should be running. I would love that bike but I wouldn't offer much for a roller. Get her going, it will sell in a heartbeat.

If I knew what I was doing all the time life wouldn't be any fun.

YeeeHaa It's Running!!
I pulled the tank and found a little dust in the bottom of the petcock. Pulled the plugs and cleaned them up. Check that there was fire on all 4 cylinders. Installed new battery and filled up the tank with high test. Found a leaking fuel line and replaced.
It fired up and ran on the first spin of the engine!
Ran rough with some missing for about 15 seconds and cleared up. I took it down the street and back.
It was Great! I gotta adjust the clutch tomorrow and start cleaning up.
Looks Like I'll be selling a "Running" Bike after all!!
I gotta take it up the street again....

I've got it on Ebay now listed as a 1980 Vintage KZ100-B4:LTD **One-Owner**.
There have been 273 visits to the page and 32 people are watching but no bids so far.
I've gotten a couple of questions on it.
I'm trying to figure out attaching a video clip of it running but haven't got it yet.
Thanks for the advice and comments from all members!
