29 May 2009 17:02
Ok, so, I know how much you guys like this term. I "scored" some new used forkes witch I have sandeddddddd and polishedddd. I removed the rotor, took it to work and had our engineer wright me a program for the cnc, I then drilled it like so hope you likey. my problem is when I reassemble wheele speedo hub thingy is tight and no play. Did I assemble something wrong?

Dude, Plummen wasn't making joke.. That's Homer Drooling over that beautiful rotor!
I don't know this hub/rotor set up but something I did learn regarding my ZX636 front tire/rim configuration... There's an arrow unknown to me at the time for direction of rotation....
I at first installed backwards and it was truly tight getting the rotor between the caliper brake pads...
I then found the service manual on line in researching I found OOPS! Meaning didn't know about an arrow on a blackened rim....
Rotated correctly, soooooooo much better... Seems theres a few mm difference... Go figure. Maybe same for your setup...
Just a thought,
OMR

Nice job on the rotor drilling!
What is year and model of bike?
Were new used forks and new rotor exact replicas of the old forks and old rotor that weren't too tight? From exact same make and model?
Are both fork lower end caps installed correctly with arrows pointing forward and gaps at the rear with no gap at the front?
Good Luck!
