So, finally got out for a ride on the bike today!
She's a bit lean off of choke, and she has trouble idling, so a bit of adjustment on the carbs and she'll be good to go. Starts up easily, pulls well, sounds mean. Here are some pics and the much anticipated video!!

Well T, if it runs as mean as it looks ya got a winner :woohoo: If yours is like mine, about one or 2 blocks and some heat in the engine and its ready to rock, but then I'm tryin to get some mpg outta mine, so it IS a lil lean.

Glad to see you make some noise with that bike. Congrats on getting it back together.
On a negative note you shouldn't have let me see that poor Cobra covered with dust and being use as a storage shelf. Sacrilege I tell ya. If I ever had the pleasure of owning that car it wouldn't be used to store boxes.

Josh, thats not mine, its my brother in laws. It should be out this summer though, not finished yet, he's been doign a lot of moving around the last few years and we haven't gotten it done. I just welded on the roll hoop last fall.

Quick update. Bike is almost finished. New seat on today, and parts painted. Side covers are still with painter as he dropped them on the floor while clear coating. Bit of a setback with the carbs, don't want to talk about it but I wont be riding for a couple weeks.
I think the bike looks incredible, will look even better with the new muffler I'm ordering tomorrow. Pic of that is below. Its just an example, they make a direct bolt on in that style.

Thanks Larry! She was running good, now I buggered one of my pilot air screws so no more running for two weeks. I work ten days at a time, its terrible.

That is cool as hell you got her running Ty! The bike looks great even sans side covers. That muffler should look kick ass too, compared to that factory stainless piece you have mounted. Exemplary job on the bike!!!

Agreed! The blue color choice is also really nice - like it a lot better than the black!
