I will when I go out to work on it. Otherwise she looks the same, without an oil pan.
zed, it's a stock 650 swingy, modified by our very own Leon Holmes. Theres a thread about it here.

Pics to come next weekend. It's been about a year and a half, but I have resources now so the bike WILL be finished before the snow flies. By finished I mean rideable, the paint and fender eliminator and new seat will be winter projects. Just waiting on some stuff from Z1E, taking a bit longer than usual due to a postal snafoo. Got my O2 sensor, fork brace, and a few other nic nacs in the mail recently. Also going to be getting some machine work done this week, then need to bring my swingarm and exhaust to a welder to get a couple things done.
Look for pics on Sunday, going to be doing everything I can with the parts I have then.

So I finally got out at the bike today, never had much to do today, since I'm still waiting on a bunch of stuff. But I did get my fork brace on and also test fit the ZR7 exhaust. Unfortunately the ZR7 exhaust hits my swingarm brace. But its only slightly, when I'm sitting on the bike or if I try to bend it out slightly it's not contacting it anymore. So I'm thinking when I put my mount on I'll make it so it puts a little outward pressure on the muffler, and she'll be fine.
Pic of bike, doesn't look like much right now, but I'll get her functional this fall, and work on cosmetics over the winter.
Fork brace went on easy as hell, looks good, and my aftermarket fender will fit, I just need to slot the mounting holes a bit.
I'm not going to bother making a fender eliminator till the winter, got too much to do just to get it running and stuff. I'm pretty psyched now, it's going to come together quick now, and I can finally start riding!

So by putting on my exhaust today I was able to measure for a mount. Here's what I came up with, simple but I think looks good.

Doth mine eyes deceive me? Tyler is posting progress pics??? Whoa, somebody pinch me! :silly: Bracket looks good to me! I need to do the same thing, bolt my cases in and mock up the exhaust to see what kind of hanger/bracket needs to be made. So before the snow flies you say? isn't that about a month away or so in the Northeast?

I don't get it haha.
The weather in NL is very unpredictable, there were good riding days right up into late January last year, but it usually stays decent (as long as you don't ride at night) until sometime in November.

That one is more self explanatory haha. The cow is definitely funnier though.
I was just looking at D&D mufflers for the ZR7, might be a tax return present to myself next March along with a new seat. Or a Jardine, since you can get a dealie to put inside and make it quieter.
