Very Nice 79,

I have always liked the way they look.

I thought about the request for before and after tumbler photos....

This is the petcock and the muffler t-bolt clamp.

After about twenty four hours in the tumbler, and a little wiping off of the red stuff.

Stoppee in Washington has done some more experimenting, and claims the Green Corn Cob media works the best, I would NOT use the red stuff it is a real pain to get all the red off, seems like some sort of clay to me.

After..

i am betting that the red stuff is red polishing rouge and that if you were to take the parts with the red stuff on them and put them in the corn cob they would shine super bright.my .02 anyways.

it looks like it did a great job. thanks for the pics.
hear is a pic of the chain roller that Ted sent me.
It mounts on my chain side rear motor mounts lower bolt. with the 5/8" offset sprocket, the chain would come up and hit my aluminum motor mount hard enough to ware it down. now the chain hits the roller instead.

That looks awesome, good deal. We need to be thanking Ed he machined the roller, actually the two rollers.

I think this worked out really well, I would have never thought about that problem had you not brought it up. Then it takes just a little longer to make the extra roller for you to test. We use your idea, make two and we are all happy.

Everybody puts in a little effort, and good things happen.

Ed gets a kick out of it all, he is so cool.
