The bike was going to be a drag bike but never made it back in the late 70's. I got the bike two years ago after it had been sitting unused for 25 or so years. Here's what I started with.

Thought about restoring but I couldn’t help myself, I had to modify. So I started cutting off pieces of the frame and then welding in the gussets.

After the frame was stronger, I wanted new wheels and upside down forks, so I got some from a ZX750. The neck had to be cut out of the original triple clamp and milled down to fit the ZX750 triple clamp.

I had just finished painting the wheels and some of the other parts and set them out to dry.
