No progress on the body parts....been keeping my eyes open but nothing in my price range so far (cheap). :)

Took a couple of phone pictures yesterday while out on a ride....I just love the look from the back with the fat tire.

After a long and horrible battle with a rusty gas tank....I had another one painted to match and while it was there, I had emblems added to it and the side covers. Redline cycles custom made the replica MKII badges for me. They came out really nice. There are still things that I'd like to do / change but I'm calling it done. Anything else I do will be a "new" project.

Thanks...there are some things I'd do differently but it functions really well. I was browsing for an old thread of mine and ran across this one. I realized that I never really finished the thread. I had planned on adding a lot more detail but never got around to it. Now I'm working on my '78 A and I've already fallen way behind on documenting the progress on that one too! :whistle:

Awesome bike 79, i think the emblems refitted really set the bike off B) to bad you had to get another tank though, but at least you can ride it again

your bike reminds me of my brothers 78 mk2. bike was originaly black with red and gold strips.
then he painted blue and silver very close to your colors.
