Now I have to get the front done. I'm waiting until I get the rear completed (or close to it). I need to start collecting front end parts pretty soon.

Well I got the wheel together and ready to go. I'm just waiting for my shocks to get here and I still need a chain and brake line. I also have to take the calipers and new front rim in for powdercoating before I put the wheel on. I think I'm closing in on it finally.

I got my shocks on today. It was a little bit of work but they work. Now I wait for my caliper to come back from the powdercoater.

Here is the wheel on the bike finally. Now all I need is to put the 530 chain and front sprocket on, have some spacers made and measure the brake line and the back end will be done.

It's getting there finally. Now I just have to come up with the $400 for the front wheel. :laugh:

I finally got it done for this year. I took it for a ride and it rides smooth! List of stuff done-gs1100e swingarm, suzuki rear wheel and caliper, powder coated wheels and brakes, 530 chain conversion, goldwing shocks, new tires, 18 inch front wheel, plastic front fender, all wheel bearings and swingarm bearings replaced, rebuilt calipers, powdercoated headlight ears, rebuilt forks, braided rear brake line, mostly new hardware and new GPZ turn signals.









I'm going with a new seat and forks this winter and maybe new carbs if the money works out.
