OMG don, i think i just had a little accident in my pants.....lol Looking good so far, should look killer with that gs arm, and wheel you scored off ebay. Hopefully my z1 will be ready next year and we will be able to do that ride.
I'm hoping to have it all done by spring. So far we haven't had any snow and it was warm today. The first thing I need to do is get a couple of chain gouges welded up on the arm and then put the new bearings in it. I also need new shocks for it and washers to use as spacers then it's in. I'm thinking about sending the wheel to Buchanons to have it put together. I'll have them lace with new spokes and true it up. I'm still debating powdercoating the hub black to match the rim. It would look sweet with polished spokes. But if I do that I'll want to get new wheel bearings and also have to do the same to the front wheel. Oh well it's only money right?

LMAO! I only store it when I have too much of it to drink---which is VERY rare! Lookin' good, Don. I haven't been around all that much in recent years, but as I remember that scoot of yours always looked pretty effin' sweet. Maybe post up some pics of the swingarm you're tryin' to clean up...might help with the 'how-to' tips. BTW---MORE PICS, DAMNIT!

Woops too much light. Still a little red paint on it.
All cleaned up and ready for powdercoat.
A little welding and she is good to go.

I had to cut about four inches off the inner fender.
A handfull of washers used as spacers. You can see two thin ones and a thick one.
I had to grind about half of the bolt head off.
And it's done.
